"When we treat play as seriously as it deserves, we feel the joy that’s in the creative spirit. It’s the things we play with and the people who help us play that make a difference in our lives." -Fred Rogers-
This blog is a mix of the fun and playful things that inspire me every day. It's about being artistic with kids of all ages. It's about living a creative lifestyle. It's about photography, graphic design, interior design, fashion, creativity, art, and any other pieces of the creative puzzle.
My bachelors degree is in Commercial Art with a minor in Cultural Anthropology. I spend my full-time workdays creating multimedia for eLearning. I love good food, shiny objects, comphy hoodies, and of course time spent with my family and friends. I love yoga and zumba, and I usually always have a camera in my hand (or at least nearby). However, the best parts of my days are spent with two trusty sidekicks- my husband Charlie, and my son Ethan (who you see plastered all over this place). I'm not a crazy super-mom-- I usually write my blog posts on my lunch breaks at work (that's when time allows)!
So there you have it--I'd love to hear what you have to say, so feel free to leave comments at any time!
PS- Remember always my disclaimer: baby, toddler, and preschool activities are designed to be fun TOGETHER. These projects and ideas should always be executed under responsible adult supervision. And even if you're just a creative adult, experience requires me to suggest that you be careful with that super glue and/or duct tape!
